Pumpkin Spice Dolman

This weekend I finished up some things a little quicker than I expected and had a little spare sewing time.  I decided to whip up a new top for myself, the Pumpkin Spice Dolman by Patterns for Pirates.  I had the perfect fabric in my stash so it was meant to be.

Pattern Pieces:  The pattern prints easily and each size is clearly marked so you can easily follow along your size for cutting.

Directions:  The directions were very clear without being too wordy.  There were plenty of nice and clear photos depicting the steps.  Not once was I stumped or have to reread any steps.

Sewing:  This is a really quick sew.  I honestly think it took me longer to print and piece the pattern than it did to sew.  I chose the traditional neckband and straight hem option.  You could also chose a bound neckline and a curved hem.

Conclusion:  I really enjoyed sewing this top.  It is really comfortable and works well with jeans.  I am sure I will be making another one in the near future.
