Fall is in the air!

This morning when we woke up it was a mere 40 degrees!  While waiting in the carpool line at school you can’t help but see all the leaves already starting to take on different hues.  Of course as we were switching over our clothes from summer back to winter we realize that the youngest has outgrown every article of clothing from last winter.  So that means it is time for a fall sewing marathon.

First up was the Rachel dress by Funktional Threads.  This is such a cute and simple dress with so many options.  I used the long sleeve option with the paneled skirt.  The leggings, though tough to see under those boots, are from the book Sewing Clothes Kids Love.

This weekend I have some jackets on the sewing table and a cute backpack!
